What is Warsaw Global?

Not just another event group.

Warsaw Global is about building a community and a support network: giving people ways to connect, try new things, explore together and make Warsaw feel more like home.

The group was founded by Paulina in June 2022, building on her experience organising student communities and later being involved with Warsaw Expats. The idea was simple: create a friendly international space where people could meet through actual shared experiences, not just collect names in another online group.

Richard joined in November 2022 after finding Warsaw Global on Facebook and taking a chance on a group trip to Park Arkadia Romantyczna. He originally joined to meet new people, take part in activities he would not necessarily do alone, and keep discovering Polish culture and travel.

Over time, that shared enthusiasm turned into a wider partnership in organising the community — and into a natural link between Warsaw Global and the broader Brit in Poland mission.

Meet the organisers

Two different strengths, one community.

Founder

Paulina

Paulina founded Warsaw Global in 2022. She brings experience in community organisation, a huge amount of drive, and a sharp instinct for the people and ideas that will help a group work well. She is passionate about creating activities that actually give people a reason to connect.

Organiser

Richard

Richard joined later that year as a member and gradually became more involved in organising events and trips. His interest in travel, culture and exploring Poland helped push the group further beyond Warsaw — while Brit in Poland provides another way to share those experiences with a wider audience.

What we actually do

More reasons to say yes to something.

Some events are relaxed and familiar. Others are an excuse to try something completely different. The mix changes every month.

01

Social meetups

Casual gatherings where the main point is simply meeting people and having a good evening.

02

Board games

Regular sessions that make meeting new people considerably easier than shouting introductions across a crowded bar.

03

Walks & hikes

From Warsaw walks to forests, trails and winter adventures outside the city.

04

Culture & food

Museums, festivals, restaurants and experiences that give us an excuse to discover something new together.

05

Day trips

Castles, towns, parks and places close enough to turn an ordinary weekend into a small adventure.

06

Travel around Poland

Longer group trips, regional events and festivals that take the community well beyond Warsaw.

From Warsaw to Poland

The city is the base. It does not have to be the boundary.

One of the best things about Warsaw is how much of Poland becomes reachable from it. Warsaw Global trips have turned that into part of the community itself — travelling together to festivals, cities, trails and places that many members might never have visited alone.

That overlap is where Warsaw Global and Brit in Poland fit together naturally: one project helps tell the story of Poland; the other gives people a chance to go out and experience more of it together.

This month with Warsaw Global

October 2026

The calendar changes every month, but the idea stays the same: give people a varied mix of ways to take part. Some months lean more social, some more outdoors, some more travel-heavy.

Who is it for?

If Warsaw is part of your life, there is probably room for you here.

You do not need to have just arrived, and you do not need to be an expat. The common thread is wanting to connect with people and do more with the city and the country around you.

New to WarsawA softer landing and a reason to get out of the flat.
Long-term residentsBecause living somewhere for years does not mean you have finished discovering it.
International residentsA broad community where English is the common language.
PolesFor people who enjoy an international environment and meeting people from different backgrounds.
ExplorersPeople who want company for trips, hikes, events and new experiences.
Community-minded peopleThose who want more than an event list — and value the connections that grow around it.
The bigger idea
Warsaw Global is not about filling a calendar. It is about building a community.

A network of people who can support one another, share experiences, discover new places and make a big city feel a little more connected.
